Toward Standardization

Lung Fidelity Benchmark

Compare lung epithelial culture models with a fixed healthy human distal lung tissue reference. The benchmark reports transcriptomic proximity using PCA centroid distance, Spearman correlation, and robustness summaries across PCA preprocessing choices.

Reference anchorGSE165192-Human healthy distal lung tissue
PCA centroid distanceLower distance means closer global transcriptomic proximity
Spearman correlationHigher correlation means stronger gene-level rank similarity
Dolan-Moré profileTests whether ranking stays stable across 32 PCA preprocessing choices

User data format

Upload healthy, mock, untreated, or baseline lung epithelial culture RNA-seq data

Use CSV files where rows are genes and columns are samples. The first column must be named exactly Gene Symbol. Values should be raw counts or count-like non-negative expression values. Already z-scored or already batch-corrected values should not be used.

Demo database

Run the built-in lung culture fidelity benchmark

The demo compares public lung epithelial culture systems against the fixed healthy human distal lung tissue reference. It includes primary monolayers, immortalized monolayers, ALI-differentiated epithelium, bronchial organoids, and engineered airway organ tissue equivalents.
