Data access note
The PhysioVerse MPS Engine can be used without sign-up or sign-in to search and compare publication-based metadata across similar studies, including model system, tissue context, assay, data modality, species, and related descriptors. Users can also follow available journal links, PubMed links, and paper-provided repository links. Sign-up or sign-in is required for workflows involving raw data contributed directly to PhysioVerse, including searching available contributor-submitted omics, imaging, processed files, ZIP packages, protected details, and access or download actions.
Dataset discovery
The public MPS Engine supports metadata search and comparison across studies without requiring an account. Users can explore system category, tissue context, cell source, materials, perturbations, assay endpoints, data modality, species, and related descriptors, then follow available paper, PubMed, or repository links.

The MPS Engine helps users compare similar studies using publication-based metadata and available paper links. Separately, contributor-submitted raw data records use structured metadata so signed-in users can understand available files before requesting access or downloading permitted data.

The PhysioVerse MPS Engine helps users explore organoid, organ-on-chip, and microphysiological systems data records. It connects each record to mapped features such as model system, organ or tissue, disease area, species, cell source, biomaterial, assay, omics modality, sensor technology, validation language, and regulatory terminology. Users can search by DOI, data ID, year, record type, contact information, or mapped scientific features.

Standards and manufacturing partners
Connect with the organizations advancing consensus standards, validation, and regenerative manufacturing across the PhysioVerse ecosystem.
The Microphysiological and Organoid Systems Standards Development Organization (MOSSDO) is a federally funded multi-stakeholder initiative focused specifically on establishing consensus-based standards for organoids, microphysiological systems (MPS), and body-on-a-chip technologies. MOSSDO develops frameworks for reproducibility, validation, and interoperability, enabling these platforms to be more reliably adopted across research, regulatory, and translational settings. In coordination with enabling ecosystem efforts such as PhysioVerse, MOSSDO provides the standards foundation that supports data integration, comparability, and broader field-wide adoption.
The Regenerative Manufacturing Innovation Consortium (RegMIC), founded in 2014, is a national initiative that brings together stakeholders from industry, academia, and government to advance the manufacturing, scale-up, and commercialization of regenerative technologies. Through cross-sector collaboration, RegMIC addresses key challenges in translation, including process development, regulatory alignment, and the establishment of best practices across cell, tissue, and advanced in vitro systems.
